Unfortunately we were not given a Divine Rank for every single god, not even all human gods (gods revered by humans); though most of the popular ones did. This is why you won't see all gods from the Faerunian Pantheon on these 2 videos, we will however talk about the gods left out on Part 2 of this video and when we cover all gods in their own separate videos...we will make sure to have those as well.

Also keep in mind that these rankings are for 3rd edition, and a lot has happened in the story within 3rd and 5th edition (what i believe is around 150 or so years in the story). Some gods have gone up or down in power, some dead gods have resurrected, etc. When we cover the gods in detail we will talk about those things. We are not planning on covering demigods, except for some extreme scenarios (by extreme i mean the extremely cool ones :D like Jergal and maybe the Red Knight)

Also please consider helping us out with the Raid Shadow Legends Campaign! It really helps the channel out. Thanks to these sponsors we are getting, we are planning on upping a lot of the quality on these videos. Very soon enough i am hoping of having professionally made art for all the thumbnails on the channel. I have already started paying some of the art contributors for the channel (who previously just helped out to see their art showcased on the videos) and more.

Thank you all for being here and being awesome.

If Eilistraee were to claim the domain of simps, she'd be unstoppable

Ah Sêlune, I really love her as a deity. It is nice to have a deity in DnD that regularly communicates with the common folk and even takes in lycanthropes who choose to be good.

Illmater, the closest thing to Jesus you’ll find in D&D’s canon lore. Straight to the point that his holy symbol was what he was kill upon (it used to be a torture Rack and then WotC decided “nope… too dark for a good god”)

The problem with having god-power based on worshipers is that realistically, gods of harvest, fertility and fortune and health would always be the most powerful.

The most numerous of humans (or any species really) will always be peasants, and this is what they care about. A war-god may indeed be high in power, but their power would wane during peace time. A goddess of harvest and fertility (think Freja) would always be the undisputed, defacto lead deity in any settings.

But in DND we regularly see the powerful gods to be deities that control time, space etc.
Even in reality, where we find pantheons where the lead deity controls some lofty concept (like Norse with Odinn, Greek with Zeus etc) They are venerated for sure, but when it came down to it. the peasants actually PRAYED to, and actually worshipped the harvest ones.

The common man doesn't even know what space IS. Time for him is the day to day struggle and making ends meet so he can feed his family.

So long as I'm doing homework, Illmatter will never die.

I hate that the god of Kobolds is more powerful than both the dragon gods 🤣

I feel bad for Selune. She seems so nice and she deserves her old status back I think.

Also, just wondering who’s the god(ess) is tides? Would it be Selune or Umberlee?
