  Jazak’Allahu khairan! I was waiting for such a series. I respect every man scholar who talks about women’s issues. But this is what I really needed, to listen to women addressing Muslim women’s problems and their perspective. Again thank you very much ❤

  Married 25 years almost, alhumdulillah. It takes work, personal growth, self awareness on how I show up... if you have a true partner. Ihsan to me is treating your partner how he wants to be treated and appreciated. And being kind and honest about how you feel.

  It was cool that they acknowledged the financial flexibility that’s actually in Islamic history and law. I noticed they didn’t speak on the “obedience to your husband” aspect, they only acknowledged that the word “obedience” makes women uncomfortable. Alas I think this was at least a step in the right direction from what I’ve seen of learned Muslim women talking about the modern relationship troubles on the internet. Looking forward to seeing this series unpack the clutter!
