  I am 70 years old. When the Prime Minister Nehru passed away, I was a kid of 8 years completing my 3rd Standard of schooling. I do remember people were sad foregoing food for the whole day; the same I did. People loved him so much, kids used to address him as &apos;mama&apos; meaning maternal uncle. As I grew up I could get to know more about him but I am convinced that this discussion helped me to get to know more about him as the architect of modern India. Thanks to both of you!

  I read Discovery of India when I was in my teens. Then and now, &nbsp;I wonder how a human being could have so much knowledge and a fantastic memory to write such a book without any library to do any kind of reference. Nehru should remain a model for all Indians. Thank you for this podcast.

  Nehru ji wrote &apos;The Discovery of India&apos;. We must honour the great man by initiating a &apos;The Discovery of Nehru&apos; project so that the current as well as future generations understand and fully appreciate his immense contribution towards the creation of modern India.
