  I haven’t seen anyone mention this yet, but I love the part where Sans tries to flip a coin to decide who is person 1 and who is person 2 and Papyrus slaps it out of the air and insists that HE be person 2. It just feels like great characterization for this version of Papyrus. He knows exactly what he’s getting himself into and still is willing to sacrifice himself for Sans. The way he immediately steps up and Sans gives in shows that it’s not even a question for him and Sans knows there’s no changing his mind. It add more personality to this version of these characters and is a great moment to include in a video that, up to this point, has been pretty clinical and neutral in its writing. Just thought that was a great detail. Props to Sock Muppet!

  Fun fact. Papyrus has never even eaten spaghetti. His favorite food is dinosaur oatmeal. Flowey is the only one who knows this. Papyrus doesnt even seem like he knows. This shows how much time Flowey has spent around Papyrus. Flowey knows so much about the people around him that he knows them better than they know themselves.

  Flowey being visible in the distance really adds to the effect, because while it might be odd that there&apos;s a random intact sunflower in the snow, you don&apos;t know the norms of this world. he doesn&apos;t just have a stealth advantage, he&apos;s basically playing prophunt with you but he&apos;s both the prop AND the hunter

  I really like the interpretation of Papyrus being just as intelligent as Sans, and just being a really good actor. It also can make the moment where Sans tells you about Flowey be interpreted as him recognizing that you might be a new anomaly and trying to direct your attention to deal with the old one.
