I'm pretty sure Bunker Hill is where the phrase "Don't shoot until you see the whites of their eyes" comes from. They had limited supplies and needed to make every shot count, so they waited until they got in close and fired. Apparently there was so much blood flowing down the hill, the British were up to their ankles in blood.

2:34 The French and Indian War was part of the Seven Years War, the North American part of that war involved France and their Indian allies against the British colonies and their Indian allies, and Pocahontas was part of the Jamestown story in the 1600’s

2:44 Most "indian" were on the side of the french, because they had friendly ties with the locals (Now called french-canadian or Quebecois) and feared british expansion
The french and french canadian supported by their native allies did very well in the americas but since they were outnumbered 1V3 they eventually lost the war after 6 years of conflict

You should watch next the french revolution and then the napoleonic wars, since they happen only a decade after american revolution and are all connected (and done by oversimplified)

You actually had good intuition about terrain advantage. It was one of the most crucial advantages the rebels had, as it was mainly hit and run guerrilla tactics that were used, at least initially.

If you’re interested in more history stuff. The YouTuber “The Fat Electrician” has a bunch of history on the this era and several other historical beats. I recommend his video of the Delaware Crossing.
