  Fun fact: Tsar Nicholas II of Russia, Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany &amp; King George V of England were all 1st cousins through Queen Victoria.<br>If you think about it World War 1 was basically a fight between three cousins over who gets what.<br><br>Also the current Kings of Norway, Sweden, Denmark &amp; United Kingdom are also cousins

  There is speculation that part of the kidney damage that killed Tsar Alexander III happened because him and his family were once in a train accident and he literally held up part of the train&apos;s ceiling from collapsing to give them time to get out.

  The poison supposedly used on Rasputin was cyanide but they didn&apos;t know it evaporates at high temperatures so they probably added it to the cake batter before baking making it useless and the wine was likely mulled wine so same thing there, assuming he was poisoned at all. The autopsy found no trace of cyanide in his system. Surviving a gunshot to the head is rare but not unheard of but the autopsy revealed no water in his lungs meaning he was dead before they threw him in the river. It&apos;s a neat story but unsupported by the evidence.

One time that little Alexei hurt himself and nearly died from his hemophilia, he managed to get out of the country before possibly being reinstated. In the end though, he was executed by the Bolsheviks much like the rest of the family.

  Fun fact about Rasputin. He was famously well endowed. His &quot;manhood&quot; got preserved in formalin and was measured at 19 cm. Reason why he pulled his pants down, when police asked him who is he, to show them, what he was famous for.

  An autopsy showed that Rasputin had consumed no poison nor had he any water in his lungs. He died from the gunshots. The assassin that was supposed to buy the poison admitted that he had not gone through with it and had instead laced the tea cakes with crushed aspirin. He was not alive when they threw him in the river. The entire story was made up to further the legend that Rasputin was a supernatural monster.
