  While I was growing up in the 90s there was an old man who lived down the street from me called Harry. (Farsley, Leeds) He was one of the men who Boarded U-110. Harry still had &nbsp;a Monocular from that &nbsp;sub.

  Really enjoy the variety of subjects talked about on the show especially political and economical matters. The fact that you invite people from both left wing and right wing politics and objevtively look at their politics and promote the attitude of speak what&apos;s on your mind and free debate is what got me to subscribe. We need more people like Konstantin and Francis. People that actually listen to both sides and point out their good parts and flaws

  I heard a Navy veteran talk about when he was doing convoy escorts in 1943-1944. That the amount of radar being used by all the ships was so great that you could throw a hot dog in the air and when it hit the ground it was cooked and ready to eat. Which was pretty funny.

  I&apos;m a non-autistic female and have been fascinated with U-boats and submarine warfare for years. Watched all the movies and read some books. When I learned there was a U-boat in Chicago, I started planning my trip. I highly recommend visiting U-505 at the Museum of Science and Industry. The tickets to tour the inside are fairly cheap and well worth it. Thanks for bringing on this guest. I will definitely check out his books.

  I&apos;m from the bush (inland Australia). &nbsp;Long ago as a lark I dropped out of university and hitch-hiked up to Cairns and snagged a job as a deck-hand on a prawn trawler going up to the Torres Strait. &nbsp;I&apos;d never set foot on a salt water boat before. &nbsp;I knew nothing.<br><br>I saw the tail end of a Cyclone and various other mishaps and never once did the skipper appear undecided or panicked. &nbsp;So on several occasions I thought: this looks like something out of a horror film but just keep your head down, do what you&apos;re told and we&apos;ll get through this.
