  The husband did die but so did the whole family. Ann Hathaway's character didn't save their counterparts, her and the two children. She just left them to fend for themselves against the dinosaurs. In the end of the movie, you can see two of the neighbours' daughter, so she could've saved them but chose not to. Guess she didn't wanna share.

  The husband lowkey went out like a badass, dude saw his wife in danger and without hesitation decided to 1v1 an Allosaurus with a sledgehammer and WON. Sure he got eaten, but his death allowed his family to escape and survive, which is a worthwhile sacrifice even if it was unintentional. Id place him up there with Eddie from the lost world in terms of heroics.

  An allosaurus never would have been able to flip an ankylosaurus like that. Ankies are my favorite dinos and that scene pissed me off SO MUCH.

  Perfect balance of creativity and realism. They made the creature designs unique but it doesnt look goofy, unlike the movie 65 or the mutant/hybrid dinos from the JW franchise. Its certainly a fun watch. Also no Raptors, no Triceratops, no Rex. They really tried to give us something new here and showed us something fresh.

  Ngl me and my friends just said that thee must’ve been other ‘wormholes’ or whatever they were going to different time periods and that’s why there where prehistoric creatures not from the Jurassic
