  They literally stole the dad from another timeline which more than likely led to that families death in the alternate time event.

  It's also been pointed out when the mom orders the pizza to save the dad, she reunites with a version of the dad who has not been through everything that brought them closer together so she's back in her unloving marriage.

  I know you&apos;re not supposed to take the time traveling too seriously, but if they saved the husband by ordering a pizza, and the time portal took them back to save the neighborhood, that means the wife either didn&apos;t call herself to tell her to leave the neighborhood and let herself and her kids die, or she created a universe where there would be 2 versions of her and her kids if they made it back after going through everything without the husband&apos;s help. Which also leads to people who weren&apos;t able to get her warning possibly making it back and now there is 2 of all those people.
