People call them 'lunatics,' but honestly, look at what the studio system put them through. When you're worked to the bone and treated like a commodity, it’s no wonder so many of them snapped. A dark reality.

Errol Flynn was no monster. He got into fight with a director who didn’t care how many horses were killed to make a movie.

Never criticize without mentioning the good the person has done.

Love how the video flags myths vs facts—finally something that does real digging instead of gossip.

Actors are Flawed Human Beings just like all of us. All I know is that I loved the acting of many of the Actors that have now passed on.

Actors are actors because they mask their true selves in front of the public, so none of this is surprising.

Lucille Ball had the same cast members over the years - and many became her close friends as time went on. She was known to be a perfectionist but the nasty comments do not hold up about relationships. However, re Richard Burton - a major issue was his coming late, not knowing his lines and excessive drinking was an issue. Also not having worked on tv as opposed to film needed direction - all which he resented. B/t/w Burton's alcoholism was always present but in his later years it was severe. In movies he was known to do the same - his lateness, his not knowing his lines cost the movies to go way over budget. He rehearsed his lines while he sat or laid down as he could not stand and sometimes he did not show up at all. Burton died at age 58 (alcoholism main cause)

Studio Fixers are what caused charges to largely go away.
