  If I had a Wraith Hive ship... I would call it... Muffin.   And this is one of my Personal Top Five Bad Guy Capitol Ships.

  The most interesting thing about Stargate Atlantis was the backstory and lore. Specifically the &quot;Ancient vs Wraith&quot; war.<br><br>The Ancients had advanced technology and could have eliminated the Wraith early on, but didn&apos;t take them seriously until it was too late. <br><br>The Ancients sent out their most advanced and powerful warships. The Wraith sent out hordes of organic ships. The Wraith took massive casualties but eventually won the space war. Then Wraith captured a handful of ZPMs, and were able to put their organic farms into overdrive. <br><br>Then sent hordes of ships against Atlantis defenses. Slowly taking over one planet at a time. This happened over the course of hundreds of years. <br><br>And the Ancients refused to use weapons of mass destruction due to their morals. Their arrogance and pride wouldn&apos;t let them accept that WMDs were necessary, and wanted to fight a &quot;clean&quot; war. <br><br>It&apos;s a war I would like to see or screen or animated.

  Not sure if it was mentioned in the vid, but because i think it wasnt - here are my 2 cents.:<br><br>1) Each and every hiveship carries inside &quot;atlantis&quot; version of stargate inside specific, human sized &quot;gateroom&quot;. Mentioning human sized, because to a degree - that is an overlook of the writers - Darts can travel thru stargate, but not thru hyperspace, therefore to GET the darts to the gate, the hive has to get to a planet with LOCAL stargate, instead of simply use its &quot;warp/regeneration&quot; safety stops (and either placement of stargate to a room adjacent to dart hangars (while having openable wall for the darts to fly thru to the gate itself) to send and recieve its darts from the WHOLE galaxy. Similar advantages as mobile telephone has over hard-line. <br><br>2) For wraiths (as a society) the hive is the same as a city for a human. MAJORITY of wraith society lives their lives onboard of the hives, therefore if someone is researching wraith society, one of the easiest ways would be to get an inner look into a wraithship, or at least have a chance to check all of its amenities. <br><br><br>3) Not to hiveship alone, but it just occured to me, that human captains facing Wraiths are a bunch of stupidos. Easiest way to fight MULTIPLE hiveships, would be to steer as close as possible to the one on the edge of their formation, - by that manuevre you basicaly cover yourself from all other ships firepower by the hull of &quot;your&quot; covering hiveship, and from significant number of hiveship main gun batery too (because of gun elevation and depresion limitations. Also, if you crisscross on the edge of your &quot;covership&quot; hive silouhette, you can pop up, unload your strongest weapons on another hiveship and immediately returns under the &quot;cover&quot; hiveship silouhette to prevent defensive fire from your latest target.<br>Instead of that, those mentaly unwell gentlemen tend to face two (or more) hiveship FRONTALY, while dividing their (already meagre - at the time only railguns -) firepower on 2 different targets. <br><br>4) Not mentioned possible transport of (and connection with) 3 wraith hive cruisers to a hive all at once. Although not often used in the show, tactic-wise it allows more flexibility, by simply having the hives escort starships at hand for &quot;All&quot; the times, and from the oposite point of view - the cruisers can easily resuply from the hive and more quickly regenerate any dammage on their cruisers, by simply connecting the cruiser(s healing ability) to hives (much stronger) plug.<br><br>5) Hardly mentioned even in the show, but Hive can obviously work underwater.<br><br>Namevise - i thing no-one can beat &quot;FluffyBunn SprinkeSpark&quot;

  Great video and I am glad to see people branching out to other francizes that the big 2. I would love to see some Babylon 5, Earth Force has a long list of ships they used that didn&apos;t make it to the show.

  Regarding the concept-ship, it&apos;s entirely possible that the one on the planet in episode 1 was in a &quot;hibernation-mode&quot; of sorts. The arrival of humans using Lantean tech could easily have caused a shift in the hiveship forms given their organic natures.

  One thing that was interesting was that the ship was been powered with a 0 point Module powering it and they blown it up like it was just a normal ship l, so the amount of power that&apos;s in a 0 point module is staggering beyond belief and should have gone with a bigger boom
