  I think the original infinity blade is probably a solid competitor in the top ten most iconic and recognizable fantasy sword designs in history.

  I remember emailing the dev team praising the game and straight up just asking for some of the premium currency and not only did I get a response from one of the devs, but he actually loaded my account with more currency than I could ever spend 😂 I can’t even comprehend asking for that in today’s world

  The reason was lot more simple, Epic sued Apple in 2018 to try and get Apple to reduce the percentage they took on App Store purchases. During the lawsuit, Epic pulled Fortnite and all the rest of their game from the App Store till the dust settled. After the lawsuit finished, Epic never cared to put it back on since it was barely played. Really enjoyed the game tho

  These games also had crazy secrets and Easter eggs. Like if you let yourself die in the tutorial of the first game you would spawn into the first bloodline as an over powered dark knight. It was the kind of stuff you only got in games made by people who cared

  I have a family member who worked on the game. We are pretty close and we talked all the time about it. He was the one who did motion capture and the lead animator for IB. You can also find him on American Ninja Warrior. If I recall, I beleive he said that keeping up with code and software was a huge issue. We have not talked about it in years, but if you wanted, I might be able to set you up with an interview. Might be worth a whole video
