I truly don’t understand how we have such strong systems and no modern street racing game. Online capabilities could give us car meets, street teams so much and we have not got it from no studio such a missed opportunity. Maybe I’m just old and I enjoyed this era of gaming so much but it would be great. Awesome video bro.

I loved Juiced 2 as a kid, my mom took my PS3 away for a month because of the stripers in the menu

Watching Tila Tequila and Linda Oneil on SRS as a kid was the best thing ever. I come from a mormon household so one time my mom walked in on me watching them dance and told my dad when he got home. My dad broke my PS2 and all my games. Only good thing to come out of that is that I stopped being mormon and eventually over the years I rescued all my siblings from that religion.

Even guys who didn’t like playing car games were playing street racing games, it was a big culture in society as a whole back then, but tappered off over the next ten years

Back when street racing and Y2K were peak. 2000's are so special and still remain unmatched.

The SRS game is a fever dream of the street racing scene of the 2000’s. The girlfriend system was very unique and it stood out to me back then when I was a boy. I thought it was so cool 🤣

Underground 2 is very much a window into early/mid 2000s visual mods.

The vibes of 2000s is just so unique with many type of racing genre since 2000s Midnight Club, NFS, Gran Turismo, TXR, Juiced, etc. either street racing/official racing with many elements to make interest like ability, customization or race mode that definitely rare to be found after 2000s

Also Midnight Club 3 is such underrated intense racing gem with such fun gameplay + amazing character
