  Their affogato is so simple and beautiful and inspiring. Things like this are true highlights of Italian cuisine for me...fresh, quality ingredients treated simply with the mastery that comes from generational knowledge. &nbsp;It&apos;s so perfect no one needs to look for more.

  L&apos;affogato purtroppo è diventato turistico e ci sono le file dei turisti solo per quello. Come detto ne fanno a migliaia al giorno. Comunque era e rimane una delle migliori gelaterie di Firenze, purtroppo ormai è troppo turistica e il servizio è calato e i prezzi sono esplosi (cosa ormai un po&apos; ovunque e ci sta) ma, il problema degli ultimi anni, sono soprattutto le porzioni ridicole: la coppetta è letteralmente &quot;spianata&quot; sopra, come si vede anche nel video, dunque, in media, con una coppetta di volume X da Vivoli ti gusti solo l&apos;X, in tutte le altre gelaterie solitamente X+30% (la parte &quot;sopra&quot;, che fa monte). Comunque gelato ai marroni in autunno imperdibile, vale solo quello il viaggio. Affogato + gelatone ai marroni. Incredibile

  Che ricordi io gelato affogato: da bambino quando lo chiedevo al ristorante me lo portavano con il tartufo bianco dell’ antica gelateria del corso..eccezionale

  When l am in Italy almost every year, all my senses are on high alert. I have been 3 times recently in Florence and everything tasted great, also the ice cream and anything else in iconic “Vivoli”. &nbsp;Good to know the family story. But my favourite passion, apart from all the Arts, restaurants, concerts, and pretty landscapes, is the Ferragamo shop, and Shoe Museum. <br>I enjoyed the documentary immensely. I am looking forward to my next trip next year 2027. Greetings from Brighton, Melbourne, Australia with love 🫶❤🌏
