It should also be noted that Keith and Ron shared lots of guitars, you mentioned KR also played an L5-S, but it was probably the exact same guitar as they basically had a band roster of instruments that they would swap around.

Monopoly out on this particular model puts me in mind of one that I mentioned in the comments section of the mod collection on the 26th of March, the John Lennon modified Les Paul Jr. He had an extra P90 for the neck position and a toggle switch, but he preserved the rest of the electronics.

I saw the Richie Sambora L5-S show up on Reverb a few days ago, and I love how he kind of stylized it a bit after a Les Paul, but kept a lot the same and had the old Gibson logo.

Interesting review comparing the Ron Wood L-5S to the Vintage. One note though, you need to take that poker chip off the Vintage L-5S. They never had those on there. But, I do love my 1977 Gibson L-5S. I had to have one since Mark Farner played one.

I seem to remember a Gibson factory tour video with shelves of fingerboards, where one shelf clearly was marked &quot;Ron Wood L5-S&quot;.

The new L5S has the neck pickup in the correct location, right where the 24th fret would be , if it existed.<br>But I think that losing the 4 knobs will limit the tone possibilities for this model.

I was thinking what could be a semi-hollow es-175, like a cooler es-335... But never imagined a solid body of those.

By the way, I guess they&apos;ll make a reissue of the es-137 and I really look forward to see a review of one of those!

If I was an artist getting a guitar run, I would sign the truss rod cover....the BACK of the cover....a little easter egg
