1:22 I actually have no idea how this happened. That was definitely not intentional but I'm going to look into it when I get home and see what happened in the editor

Of course, Professor Oak spawns from around your house. Just like in the anime with Ash's mom.

You missed clicking on the tv in your home on the side, pressing the tv on the side by clipping in the wall it says “Oops wrong side”

Using Nurse Joy's back sprite for her bowing animation is really clever. Those game cartridges already were jam packed, not having to make a separate bowing version saved just a little bit of memory that could be used for something else

On the Seafoam Islands when you block the water and walk over the area previously in the water, you’ll have puddles appear as you walk

Fun fact, if you give yourself the second fossil using cheats or ACE, the doctor at Cinnabar Lab actually won't recognize it at all. I presume it doesn't go by the fossil item in your bag, but by the choice made in Mt. Moon.

If you go to Bulbapedia you can see the entire sprite map of routes at once. Very easy to tell which caves like Mt. Moon or Dark Cave have both entrances in one connected map.

11:47 as a kid in 1999 the playground rumor was that the orange league was behind bills house and the only way to get there was to use a gameshark and walk through walls. Damn you James, after all of these years I found out there was nothing!
