  Grace Jones is fantastic and larger than life, but underneath it all, she is totally down to earth and very, very funny, even kind of goofy.

  I got to see her AND Teyona Taylor in NYC live on my bday, in 2019. Truly incomparable. Wonderful video

  I love that every time some commenter doesn&apos;t like a video, it&apos;s automatically AI. That said, everything in this video is correct. Grace was an icon even way back when. I went to see Flashdance with her in NYC in 1983 because the production wanted her to play the small roll of Jennifer Beals&apos; character&apos;s best friend in the club. Grace laughed through the entire movie, and said &quot;Thank god I didn&apos;t take that part!&quot;. We left the theater where she was immediately mobbed by an army of teenagers who chased her into the middle of Times Square traffic. I left her laughing and screaming at the kids from the top of a sign post. She loved it, they loved it, end of story.

  She recently did a concert in Sydney a couple of months ago that I missed due to injury (her previous concerts &nbsp;a decade earlier were the hot ticket talk of the town and I missed those as well), my friend sent me numerous clips from the concert and she was as amazing as I hoped at 77 years.
