Lean/toned and fit, not muscular and bulky:

1. 1h walks, low intensity
2. Pilates, bodyweight, light weights
3. Intuitive eating, not counting macros
4. Do not cut out foods/food groups (reference back to intuitive eating)
5. Eat when you are hungry, do not overeat when you're full (reference back to intuitive eating)

Most fitness studies are done on men. Men whose bodies baseline composition is more muscle and less fat, men whose hormones remain fairly stable throughout, well, their whole life, men who have much more testosterone protecting them from the negative effects of cortisol, men whose bodies use energy differently, etc... And then they take those results and try to tell women that if we do roughly the same things, we should get the same results... When the very reason they don't include us in the studies in the first place - or sometimes cast out our results afterwards - is precisely because our results don't match those of the boys... sigh

What you shared was refreshing and it all sounded like very good advice, to me. Thank you. :)

what summarizes everything she had said, is that BALANCE is key. basically balance. that's it. no intense workouts or diets, just distribute everything evenly without calculating. only be aware of your consumption <3

I’m not going to lie, I was very nervous going into this video because there’s so much unhealthy and dangerous advice for losing weight targeted specifically at women. But this video was not only very insightful, but also so kind. I can’t imagine how many women of all ages you have helped with this , including myself. A wonderful reminder to listen to our own bodies rather than blindly following advice targeted for men. Bravo ❤️❤️

This is absolutely no insult to on the creator, she is obviously wanting to prevent people the same struggles she went through, I just want everyone watching to know everyone is different and at different stages of health so this may work very differently for each person (whether that be positively, negatively, or no change at all). Make sure you also do your own research and listen to your own body and medical professionals!

I totally agree! Learning how to listen to my body was a turning point for my health and confidence too. Food is beneficial for both your body and mind and should never be perceived as an enemy. It’s all about finding your balance and what makes you feel good 🌷

1. Overtraining (super high intensity, too much cardio)
Do long walks, low intensity instead
2. Lifting weights (some want to lose fat and tone, not build crazy muscle. Everyone has a different body, and this can make you puffy, bulky, etc.)
Pilates, smaller weights, again less intensity, 1 year, looked more toned without changing the number on the scale
3. Tracking macros (takes a ton of time, crave what you limit more)
Eat intuitively instead
4. Excluding certain food groups- limiting certain foods like bread, other carbs, fats, etc.
Again, eat intuitively
5. Calorie deficit (cut calories, exercise more and eat less, puts body into fight or flight mode, undereating, hold onto fat instead of losing it)
Eat what your body needs. Eat when you're hungry and stop when you're not

Reminder: this doesn't work for everyone, but it works for some. You're beautiful, I promise ❤❤❤

I recently became aware of how walking really is the key to losing fat, not putting your body understress, doing something that is easy to do consistently, that wont spike my hunger.
