One has to concentrate on the front sight as it fits into the cavity of the back sight while on target. Improvement in accuracy can be achieved by looking at the front and keeping it stationary while easily pulling the trigger. The most important thing while looking down the sights is keeping the amount of daylight one sees on each side of the front sight and the cavity sides of the back sight. One must keep the daylight seen in perfect proportion on each side of the back sights while squeezing the trigger on target consistently!

I have practiced firm grips and making accuracy for years. I am now teaching others the same thing too.

Thank you this. I just went to the range yesterday for the first time. I’m a new gun owner. I’m a big athletic guy, and I thought I’d be a decent shot. I was absolutely terrible. I was definitely finding my shots were going down and to the left. I had no real consistency. It was so discouraging. At this point I’d be more of a threat to an intruder if I threw the gun at them. Thank you for this video. I’m going to bookmark this and watch it numerous times before my next range trip this week.

My first shot is always dead on but after that it goes everywhere. I figured out my muscle memory tenses up anticipating the following jolts. I have to reset my brain on each shot when i figured this out but practice time is really the key to eliminate the jolt anticipation. This is good info.

I was about ready to drop off our church security team because of my poor groupings during practice. After watching this video , one magazine using the crush grip and my grouping was great. Thanks.

Crush! Took me a while to learn this one. Super-good. HUGE improvement. People tend to tighten up slightly after the trigger pull because of recoil. Tighten up immediately and always. Grip should feel tired after shooting a few magazines.

Yea, switched the gun to my right hand just like in the thumbnail, and now I shoot like a pro. Thanks!

I was surprised the AI did not include the importance of locking your wrists - I love watching Jerry Miculek videos and particular emphasis on wrist locking.
