  &quot;The cost of living versus the price of living&quot; that resonates. it&apos;s the difference between price and value. Thailand is a deeply amazing country with an identity crisis in my opinion, &amp; Bangkok is beautifully broken. It&apos;s both electric and eclectic. I could go on &amp; on with the adjectives and they all would apply. I was there scouting retirement locations for my parents. I felt that freedom feeling as well and the honeymoon phase was very impactful. 1 month in, I saw Thailand&apos;s mask slipping a bit. I&apos;m not sure if you experienced this (because you&apos;re beautiful) but most times I felt either invisible, or the smiles, kindness &amp; welcoming hospitality was largely transactional. There&apos;s only so much you can blame on the language barrier, when people are largely speaking funtional english to you. As a solo traveler, did you ever get that &quot;alone in a crowd&quot; feeling? &nbsp;That and the air quality was enough for me to rethink my parents retiring there full time. <br><br>I look forward to watching your Thailand versus Vietnam comparisons, especially narrated by that ASMR, guided meditation worthy voice of yours. Seriously Chloe, thanks for sharing your profoundly personal experiences with us.

  Hey Ms Chloe, another great video from you. I really appreciate the way you are making those of us who are wanting to migrate to SE Asia consider certain things. I feel like I&apos;m ready for a new chapter in my life, it will come with sacrifaces, adaptation and growth but I am actually excited to see how this journey will unfold for me.<br><br>Btw, your skin is glowing sis. I would love to see what the grocery stores and gyms are like out there. You did a really good grocery store video when you were living in Thailand, I enjoyed it a lot.<br><br>Keep doing your thing, lovely lady!

  Vietnam and Thailand so popular with digital nomads because these 2 countries balance perfectly cost, living standards (rent, modern apartments, low crimes, high speed Internet, etc...), comfort and traveling. They are so close to each other, perfect to rotate. No other regions in the world come close.

  A lot of people are having these conversations about Asia and its affordability but don’t discuss how to stay. Sure the prices are lower but that doesn’t solve long term residency issues and ways to stay without border runs (which isn’t reliable long term) great video and information!!
