  The older gent at the beginning was Louis Marshall Jones, known by the stage name "Grandpa Jones." He was a banjo player and singer/songwriter, and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1978. He was a featured regular on a TV show that ran for years called "Hee-Haw", which was a staple of American Saturday night entertainment. Roy Clark and Buck Owens were the show's hosts, and they invited some of the greats in Country music and other forms of entertainment. It was a silly yet wholesome bit of Americana that we could use more of today.

  Glen was my uncle I used to hang out with him and the family on their home on 4th street in Albuquerque . That is when he was playing on the Dick Bills show I was 8 then I am 69 now. He was and always will be a huge talent .

  A reporter asked Hendrix, what's it like being the greatest guitarist in the world? Hendrix pointed to Glen and replied, he's sitting right over there, go ask him. Love it.

  Two of the most amazing musicians in history. Roy could also play violin (country fiddle and classical), banjo, mandolin, and pretty much any stringed instrument, expertly. One of the most talented musicians, ever.

  Glen was a member of the "wrecking crew" , the LA studio musicians that were on every album made in the 50's to the 80's in LA before he went on to a solo career. He was such a legit player that EVH actually took a few lessons from him. Roy was probably one of the biggest IYKYK players that ever existed. People think of him as just some guy from Hee Haw but the man was as good as it gets. His picking skills are insane. More people know about Glen's skills than Roy's but they both are top tier players. It is nice to see them getting their due still.

  This was Roy and Glen basically playing at 30% throttle, for the audience. &nbsp;Glen did bump up to about 40% throttle around the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQ-aggMdTas&amp;t=280">4:40</a> mark, just because his fingers were bored. &nbsp;This little, entertaining snippet is just the tip of the tip of the tip of the talent iceberg, that these two legendary musicians possessed.
