I’m surprised at how much I actually liked Charlotte. In films like this, you’d think she would come off as an obnoxious rich brat, but she’s turns out to be the opposite of that. She continues to be a great friend to Tiana by giving her just the right amount of money for her restaurant, left her dance with Nareen to help Tiana clean herself up, and she accepted Tiana’s love for Naveen.

I appreciate that her best friend always dreamed of marrying a prince and when she finally met an actual prince put the charm on but when she saw her best friend was genuinely in love with him. She took the L and stepped aside. ❤ I also love that despite Tiana being poor her best friend never looked down on her or gave her a hard time for working hard and earning her own way

Charlotte aka Lotti May be a bit much......but one thing I will say about her....she is one ride or die friend! ESPECIALLY back in that time period when it would be "frowned upon" for a rich white girl to be friends with a "common black girl".

Of course her having the dad she has that saw a person's character instead of skin color helped IMMENSELY!

O
Two other things you can say about Lotti.....is that 1) she could NEVER be boring lol and 2) she strikes me as that friend who can ALWAYS put a smile on your face.

Curtis talking about charlotte: “I could not handle someone like that”…..that’s literally how you and Chris act 😂
