WHAT A SURPRISE THAT THIS MOVIE ACTUALLY TURNED OUT TO NOT BE ONLY VERY FUNNY, BUT JUST AN ALL-AROUND FUN MOVIE!

Jack Black playing a teenage girl trapped in a man's body is something I never thought I'd see

But he absolutely nailed it

this movie was actually a HUGE surprise for me. I saw it way after it released, expecting an awful reboot, and instead got a funny adventure movie that gives a nice little nod to the OG while doing its own thing and having a soul.

An actor acting like one character trapped in the body of another character played by a different actor is so skilled and always fun to watch 😂

I love that it wasn’t a remake, but a re-introduction to the world. And the nod to Alan Parrish. Love it. A pleasant surprise and so much fun.

If you're gonna be trapped in a game for 20 years, you'd need margaritas
