  From my own experience, I can say that a truck with a flat nose is much clearer, and you have a much better view. Furthermore, these trucks have a smaller turning circle. Modern European trucks are equipped with many safety features, not just for the driver, but also for pedestrians and cyclists. In this respect, the American models simply lag behind the non-American models and are therefore virtually unsaleable in Europe. And in terms of mileage, too. Besides, Europe is larger than the US in terms of area and shifts a huge amount of freight to trains. Beyond a certain distance, it&apos;s simply cheaper.

  It&apos;s the same with the Americn schoolbuses. They were designed in the 50s of the last century and nothing has changed since then 🙈

  he forgot to mention one big advantage , EU truck are allowed to haul up to double what americans trucks do and that result in &nbsp;half the trucks on the roads and increased profit on every single trip. things that would benefit everyone involved.

  It&apos;s like the car market in America, the motor industry tells you what you&apos;re having, so you&apos;re stuck with what the truck makes says you can have!!!

  Finland still has the capacity and possibility to go even heavier and longer with their trucks,cause our terrain supports it.

  Dutch guy here. If you want bigger trucks that can carry more cargo, you first need to address America&apos;s road infrastructure. Many bridges in the US are in very poor condition; a significant number, approximately 7.5% or 46,154 of the 617,000 bridges, are considered structurally deficient. This means they are in &quot;poor&quot; condition. Although it&apos;s a minority, some infrastructure is in dire need of renovation or replacement. This is important because America&apos;s infrastructure is challenging, and a major investment plan has been launched to address it.

  as far as i know, european trucks are flat because there are regulations on how long a combination may be, not how long the trailer is like in the USA. So Europe, made there semitrucks flat so they could carry more stuff. if that makes sense
