    Tom I'm an old lady in a wheelchair I still clean my house and cook. But it is so nice to see you doing one of my hobbies when I was younger.I did Native American and bottles it was so exciting to see what you would find next. Even watching you I get excited So Thank You for making my days a little more interesting and explaining everything along the way . Mary Anne

    Just looked up Phosphene Gas .<br><br>If you&apos;d have broken one of those . You might have been a Gonner !<br><br>Absolutely terrifying that somebody threw that out in 1890&apos;s and in 2024 you dug it up .<br><br>* shudders *

    as a 75-year-old woman, I have to admit I&apos;m not excited about the bottles, but I do like it when you find porcelain and ornate dishes, especially that are in one piece. I also like the old mason jars. by the way, what in the world do you do with all of these bottles???

    What treasures you found on this dig Tom. These glass containment’s were just part of every day life then, just tossing in pit when broken or of no further use. Little did the know what would happen when our Tom came a digging. Thanks for these wonderful digs you do and for sharing. x

    I am 62 now I could remember when my grandfather told me that when he was a kid they would have to Lime the Outhouse occasionally on the farm in Iowa

    I watch British mudlarkers who salvage bottles from estuaries and dumps. &nbsp;Colors and sizes are quite varied. &nbsp;Most favorite are the stone mineral water and beer bottles as well as the master inks and inkwells. &nbsp;Really enjoy learning how far and wide different bottled patent medicines and foods have traveled to reach the Old West. &nbsp;Be safe in the dig.😊
