That spear I see leaning against the tree is a great idea! They add a huge amount of protection. I would think you could fend off just about any animal<br>with that!

BIG BRO, got a question: I HAVE a thick sleeping blanket/ 5"air matress/ wool blanket/ thin throw blanket/24"x10' radiant heat rflector insulation; question is WHATS THE BEST WAY TO LAYER THOSE THINGS FOR OPTIMAL WARMTH AS A HIKING/BACKPACKING SLEEP SYSTEM? I despise the cold but I wanted to try and get some camping/hiking done before it gets too cold, I work every other weekend and time hasn't been my friend this summer season so I want to expand my options into the cooler weather; hit me back how/when you can, love what you do, the info/tutorials are invaluable!
