Fun Fact...the reason why it wasn't called the Mega Drive in the USA was because the name Mega Drive was already trademarked by a company that made early PC hard drives.

3:23 - Sonic has officially crossed over with Barbie... twice! The first time was in 1994, during the McDonald's Happy Birthday Happy Meal promotion. Barbie and Sonic each had their own train cars, and their animated selves appeared in the commercials alongside a live-action Ronald McDonald and many other famous cartoon characters, including Brother and Sister Bear, Baby Kermit and Baby Miss Piggy, Babs and Buster Bunny (no relation!), Snoopy, and Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. The second time was in 1996, in the Jingle All the Way movie. Near the end of the film was a large parade with many famous cartoon characters and mascots, and Barbie and Sonic were among them. Barbie was driving pink convertible, while Sonic walked alongside the other cartoon characters and mascots, including Bert and Ernie from Sesame Street, Leonardo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Snoopy, the Cat in the Hat, the Crayola Crayons, and the Knock-em' Sock-em' Robots.

I played and beat James Pond II: Robocod as a child. It's a hidden gem if you haven't played it before. Give it ten minutes of your time and you might find yourself hooked.
