  Hi Milaya, glad you're enjoying Parz's video. Parz did clarify in a comment he mixed up the wolf spider and brown recluse in the cranberry video, wolf spidershave virtually harmless venom and mostly non-agressive. Anyway I hope you have a great weekend.

  Fun fact about Greenland sharks: The reason we figured out how old Greenland sharks are is because of the nuclear testing the US did during WW2. Upon investigating the shark's eye lenses, we found an abnormally large amount of carbon-14 (one of the resulting compounds from nuclear testing) absorbed in their lenses. So scientists said, "Wow, that's kinda weird. We see the results of the nuclear testing, and we aren't even a fifth of the way through the tissue. I wonder how far back it goes." The best part is that the Greenland sharks tanked the nuclear radiation and haven't experienced any noteworthy negative effects from the radiation.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dflo8lTPCHQ&amp;t=218">3:38</a> It isn&apos;t flightless, it&apos;s just bad at flying. <i>Not-quite</i> flightless is a small category but one nonetheless of bird including chickens, the common quail and peacocks that <b>can</b> fly, but suck at it. The Philippians actually has a species of Chicken that can fly pretty well, but doesn&apos;t do well in the wild because of how they were bred. Lol, for about a hundred years, the chicken fighting scene in the Philippians has been breeding these guys for <b>two</b> qualities. Bad attitude and powerful wings. <br><br>I lived in the Philippians for about a year when I was a kid. We had some friends with a hen from this species and I once saw a mean kid, known for being a bully throwing rocks at the animals. He lightly clipped one of the hen&apos;s chicks. (it was fine, more startled than hurt). That chicken really showed off her flying skills. bwak bwaking at the top of her little lungs, she chased that boy for a full mile down the road scratching, pecking and beating his back with her wings as he ran screaming. It was awesome. <br><br>Most breeds of chicken can fly down from a height or use their wings to hover over a fence but these guys could actually take off and go somewhere fly. They didn&apos;t do well on their own though because they had REALLY bad tempers and their fight-or-flight (no pun intended) was VERY heavily leaning towards fight, even when they couldn&apos;t possibly win.

  ground finches aren&apos;t flightless per se, they can fly, just not very far. and the 2 islands they&apos;re on are VERY far away from any other piece of land, so they&apos;re kinda stuck there

  He joked, but yeah, Otodus megalodon lived long after the Mesozoic era and nowhere near close to the same time non-avian dinosaurs were around. His main prey and/or competition was prehistoric whales and other similar sized fish and cephalopods . There were several sharks like Cretoxyrhina that did however prey on mosasaurs, plesiosaurs and likely the occasional dinosaur. In fact Cretoxyrhina is one of the very few prehistoric sharks that we’re actually lucky enough to know how it completely looked because its cartilaginous skeleton was miraculously well preserved, of which we sadly have had no such luck for ol’ Meg.

  The shrike bird is also found in Germany. I was walking in a nature reserve in my region once and saw several mice and other animals impaled on barbed wire. Luckily, I was already familiar with the bird from videos, otherwise I would have been terrified. A fun fact: in Germany it&apos;s called &quot;Neuntöter,&quot; which refers to a legend that it kills (töter) nine (neun) prey before eating them.
