  You can mix the mesh, either steel or copper, with silicone.  That way the steel mesh won't rust, and the mice will not be able to push it or pull it.  Bingo!!!!

  I would use both the copper and the spray if it was me. sounds like just wear gloves anyway since dealing with pest issues lol

  Key things you didn't mention here is steel wool will rust where as the copper mesh won't and also can handle heat better for using around pipes

  Good video!.<br><br>When you still will make sure you do not get 0000,000,00 or 0 .... Look for at least #3 or #4 steel wool Honestly anything less they can chew through it quite easily And after you stuff it spray it with some spray foam even if it&apos;s just regular spray foam <br><br>Personally I suggest staying away from steel wool altogether and get some stainless steel mesh or copper mesh with some spray foam if you&apos;re doing it from the exterior or interior exterior definitely do not use steel wool It breaks down quite fast especially if you live in Canada.<br>You also want to use the spray foam regardless because that&apos;s what will keep the smaller bugs out as well throw some diatomaceous earth if you want to around your foundation or crawl space is better so it doesn&apos;t wash away over time

  Regarding <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=daeOn06AM3w&amp;t=170">2:50</a>, Great Stuff Pest Block expanding foam sealant contains a chemical called “Denatonium Benzoate” which rodents do not chew through because of its awfully bitter taste.

  Also, the steel wool rusts &amp; falls apart. We used the copper &amp; it was great! I still put mice traps in the attic to get total control because I didn&apos;t know how many, or if any mice were still up there.
