Dude I never even thought of the Box holder that's awesome. I was thinking of making the wooden base with the four pegs to hold the coasters I definitely like the box idea better. Plus I like your videos they are very helpful

Great video! I was hoping you would’ve walked through creating a box with the smaller front panel and larger back panel like what you showed yourself building. Those look so nice for coaster holders. As soon as I get back to my computer, I’ll jump on the site and start playing and see if I can figure it out. Thanks!

Great video thanks for the information. The only thing I would say is that I’ve noticed when I have used the clear on a coaster it seems to make the coaster bead the water off and causes drips off the coaster. Without clear coating the slate absorbs the water better.

I’m torn on sealing the slate coasters. Some say not to because it doesn’t allow them to soak up condensation which defeats the purpose of the slate. But I don’t know.
