You totally forgot or just didn’t know about the passing of bassist Mike Porcaro.

Toto bassist Mike Porcaro who passed away from complications of ALS on March 15, 2015, at age 59. Rolling Stone.

You should be ashamed of yourself. Luke loves being on tour and loves that he and Joe with David Paich's blessing can keep the Toto legacy alive. And how the younger generations are falling in love with their music

This is the biggest bag of SHIT I have ever seen and heard!!! I have KNOWN Luke from grammar school and re-connected a few years back I KNOW this click bait garbage gets eyes but don't believe a word of it. Luke loves all the guys .. almost. haha
I go around and police the internet looking for garbage like this for fun as I am retired now. Luke is a good guy and a dear old friend I saw when he was 11 at school playing way above his age group. He put what, 50 years into this band when people either died, left or turned against him even though he makes a LOT of money for the ones that hate him.. or the ones that got fired or .. failed musicians that hate him and Toto for still being popular, more popular than ever really. Yes he misses his friends but what should he do. Stop playing? The gigs are packed. A lister band. He is not playing clubs with cheap young players shitting on the name. Stop with this nonsense.

Toto... in particular Steve Lukather, and Jeff Porcaro, are musically just as relevant to "modern" music as the Beatles... and I don't say that easily. Session musicians never get enough credit (if you disagree, just watch "Standing in the Shadows of Motown"). They are the sound of Michael Jackson's Thriller album. Either or both of them are the reason you love pretty-much every song you've loved from 1976-1987. Collectively they played on over 1500 songs, and that doesn't even consider the brilliance of their own band, Toto. 'Rosanna' and the revolutionary shuffle beat Porcaro created, continues to this day, to be revered by every famous percussionist. You will find NOBODY who criticizes Porcaro. If that isn't enough... Lukather's guitar solo on 'Rosanna' is so famous amongst guitarists... it's considered a "standard." 'Africa' is one of the most popular and famous songs ever recorded, world-wide, to this day. Weezer's cover revived it, but I think it's horrible (but that's another topic).

Lukather played on so many songs we all know... but was just as happy playing all of the electric guitar on "Beat It" (except for the arguably awkward insert of Eddie Van Halen's solo) ... or adding the simple yet crucial groove to 'I Keep Forgetting' by Michael McDonald... or delivering one of the most under-acknowledged (except for guitarists who are worth their weight in gold) guitar solos ever on Lionel Ritchie's 'Running With the Night' (if you're too young... wait for the ending - full album version!)

Lastly, their legacy and contributions to modern music is incomparable, but unlike the Beatles, in which you know it's either the Beatles or not... their individual session playing is such that every song you love from the 80's... that isn't a band... probably includes any or all of the players of Toto... and you just don't realize it!
