  I met Luke in 2017 the day before my mother died. Paid to meet Toto backstage and slipped him a note asking him to dedicate a song to my soon to be late mother. I didn't think he would but guess what? He dedicated I'll Be Over You to Donna in such a sweet and honest way that I was in tears for the whole song! To this day I STILL can't even watch 10 seconds of the video but one day I'll be able to watch the whole thing! I LOVE you Mr. Lukather!!!

  Steve Lukather interviews are impossible to bypass. There's no way I can't watch, whether it's 5 minutes or 5 hours long. The guy is an absolute treasure. Thank you, Rick!

  I have a Lukather story. I went to see his band in a tiny jazz club in LA...The Baked Potato, with a friend of mine who was a childhood friend of Steve&apos;s. We got to chat for a minute after the show. Steve was fresh off Ringo&apos;s All-Starr Band tour. The first thing Steve said was &quot;Check this out.... I got Ringo&apos;s personal number in my phone! Look! I can call Ringo right now and he&apos;ll answer the phone and say Wassup Steve?! How cool is that! He&apos;s a Beatle ya know! I got a Beatle on my phone!&quot;. He was genuinely excited. It was hilarious and actually quite adorable.<br>Ps. The drummer was also from Ringo&apos;s band Gregg Bissonette. And he was amazing and hilarious too. Great bunch of just jammin dudes for sure

  I love how genuine he is. No facade. And nice! He drops knowledge and real industry perspective for the whole video. Not to mention his incredible chops and track record. What a legend.

  Lukather should be referred to as &quot;Guitar Einstein&quot;. His guitar brilliance and the white hair... He is just freaking cool!
