  Instead of the Bench Cookie, just pick up some hockey pucks, a cheap alternative that works well.

  I bought the 3m sandpaper. Holy smokes it’s so good. &nbsp;I made Christmas trees from the tips of whiskey barrel staves. &nbsp;The 3m sanded 5 trees before it was too messed up. &nbsp;Diablo was a good bit less. &nbsp;The thing I was curious about was the 3m package actually said it was not for individual consumers which was surprising. I wonder why.

  I&apos;ve been eating up these woodworking and tool videos especially, since I&apos;m new to woodworking and I&apos;m trying to decide what i ACTUALLY need. I have a feeling a lot of this stuff is going to be like when I first had a kid. You buy a lot of stuff you think you will use, but it just sits collecting dust lol

  I enjoy sanding. I learned wood working from two Old World Hungarian cabinet makers. They taught me sanding is how you put love in the wood.

  As a basement DIY&apos;er, I just got my first jigsaw if that tells you anything - but I was tickled to see I own the 2 Japanese saws! The larger pull saw (and even the flush trim) were the primary hand tools I used in all my projects this past year. I used the speed square for straight alignment in my hanging rope shelves and a few other smaller projects. I love them!! Thanks for the advice on everything! Time to go buy my very first power tool (besides drills/drivers/sanders).
