  STOP!!  PUT THE FOAM BARRIER BETWEEN THE CONCRETE AND THE FRAMING BOARD NOW!!!!  Tearing out a wall in my buddy's house right now due to the framing board sitting directly on the concrete. What a terrible job it is, but thank goodness we can do it from the inside of the house and stay a little warm. The builder put a thin thin strip of some kind of glue to hold the boards in place so a pain now to get the boards off.  All the best to Danielle and the baby, and your mental health.  Oh and I am in Canada, so shipping Cold Beer Ranch stuff here would be a lot to expensive, but thank you for the opportunity.

  Use treated wood on base touching the cement or you’ll get rot much faster .

  Hope Danielle is still doing well! <br>I have watched other pole barn house builds. One thing I’ve noticed is that they don’t frame the walls directly to the concrete but have a thin barrier (strip of paper thin foam?) to protect the wood from moisture and to block insects from crawling in under the walls. Just a thought….

  I think you need to put the foam strips under the boards sitting on the concrete.

  A couple of ratchet straps to the girders above or the tractor, should be able to lift the walls up high enough depending on the clearance, to slip the water shield underneath. Cold Beer Ranch.
