I’m going to listen to this review, again…I will read the book again. I want to understand how I may have been wrong; the numbers don’t lie? <br>Thanks for your comments, I hope to find where and how I erred, &nbsp;apparently so badly.

I see Camus as the greatest prophet of all times. In the rebel he discusses all the way where humans need to pass through so to become one with the cosmic consciousness and be able to control life and death.

Camus is an excellent writer, but his rebellion in my view should best be understood as a personal rebellion against the absurdity and futility of life. His ideas don’t translate well into actual politics. His solution for the Algeria crisis was a federal state shared by Europeans and native Algerians. This obviously was overly idealistic and naive. Sadly, you can’t have political revolution without spilling blood.

This book destroys Marxism, and for that matter Hegel, as well as Protestantism: reminiscent of Nietzsche. I think you have missed the author’s point or worse, you’ve misrepresented it...
