The fact that “The Boys has always been political” is something that people have to keep repeating with every new season, all the way back from season 2, is fucking insane.

Interesting that a 2 year old video about The Boys and Politics pops up in my feed now; feels like it could have been posted yesterday 😅

The Boys was always political, it just started off too subtle for the conservatives to realise they were part of the joke

this has aged like wine in 2024, because season 4 is out, and there are still many ppl who only realized NOW that it's about politics 💀 i swear there's so many slow ass ppl in the boys' audience that everytime a new season gets released we have to explain that it has always been about politics lmao.

This is such a brilliant video, the quality of the commentary and editing is wayyy better than I would expect from a 300 sub channel, you definetly deserve more subs and views!

I really like this analysis because it dives into things a lot of other creators just gloss over. An unfortunate amount of people don’t watch the show because they just think it parodies the right. While it does this (and does it well), there’s more to it than just that. The Boys makes you reflect on our past, present, and future, and issues that America currently faces. It’s a great satire of performative activism, fascism in America, corporate greed, and media manipulation.
