Little partial, been using V1 since Mike was Escort. Complete with needle and city/highway switch. In fact I still have that one!. <br>I also like the phone apps that also show the ALPR and Flock cameras..

I've had the redline since before the first update...glad I stuck with it. Love it! Been using escort since 2008 or so.

Thanks for the update. Showing my age, I started with the original Fuzz Buster, then the first Escort radar detector. I now use a 2 year old Uniden R7 with factory updates and Vortex's recommended settings. I also have a Uniden R4 in my other car. Both work fine for my purposes. I don't want to add apps or attach to my cell phone.

Such a great summary! I love my Uniden R8s, but I had to dig into the settings and configure my K-band notches the way I want them to eliminate a lot of the falses that bug the crap out of me. Above all though, the V1 Gen2 with JBV1 is the king!!
