Somebody should make a documentary about that Pacers game. Larry's last hurrah. Dude could barely walk, broke his whole face came back in the game and buried them. His back was so bad, he had to lie on the floor instead of sitting on the bench. It was heartbreaking to watch.

Hands down the highest basketball IQ ever. On top of it tough as nails. I believe it was Pat Riley that said if he needed a shot to win a game he’d pick MJ but if he needed a shot to save his life he takes Larry Bird.

Take note, it has been 34 years since Larry laced them up and stepped on the court and every NBA player that ever played against him speaks about him with respect a reverence! Michael Jordan, Dominique, Magic, Byron Scott, ALL of them!

I could watch this mix tape every day. And whenever I do, I pick up little nuances in his game I never truly noticed before. One thing that flies under the radar is how insane his footwork was.

Seeing the friendship and respect between Larry and Magic always makes me think there's hope for humanity yet.

When he came back after breaking his cheek, he said, "I was seeing 3 baskets so I went for the middle one". Even injury couldn't stop the Legend. 100% GOAT.

Larry was the only friend magic had that stuck with him through his illness. When one retired the other did within 2 years becuase they couldn’t play each other anymore. That kind of relationship

Your nickname might be Magic or Air, but there has only been 1 Legend. Larry Legend
