  One of the main reasons this movie was successful and stood the test of time is it's uncanny and accurate depictions of highschool female dynamics. Every girl knew a Regina.

  After you said you were homeschooled, every time you said you did something at school, I just pictured you doing it at home 😂 “yea I had a talent show” (as you danced for your parents in the living room). “Yea I had some bullies” (your parents tripping you through the house and calling you mean names)

  Although it's exaggerated for comedic effect, a lot of the cruelty and manipulation displayed by the girls is actually fairly accurate to my high school experience. Which is a major reason why I dropped out the day I turned 16 and it became legal for me to do so (I got my GED and later went to college, though). Great video, as always!

  I feel like Aaron Samuels is a massive hypocrite as well, like he fell for Regina again knowing what she was like, and then kind of encouraged Cady when she was behaving badly, and then suddenly behaved like he was morally superior. He was such a boring character but I guess he's supposed to be a blank canvas character.

  This movie, in my experience, very accurately captures the catty vibe with teen mean girls. At least it did back in the 2000-2010s, probs less accurate now that more bullying in on social media.<br><br>The backhanded comments, the insinuation that you’re super annoying in your own friend group, but then if you try to confront any head on, you’re treated like you’re acting melodramatic and “obviously” these people are your friends and care about you! The gossiping behind people’s backs to further cement friendships, but knowing at any point the person who just gossipped to you might gossip about you. And just the general power tripping of whoever is “on top”.<br><br>I wasn’t even in a popular group in high school, and all of these dynamics still played out. Thankfully (if you can call it that), I had already been severely bullied in middle school, and was cautious about getting attached to any one friend group as a result. I spent a lot of time in high school drifting between groups to avoid whoever was in the meanest mood on a given day. Still stung though. I was very glad to leave those dynamics behind after graduating. Now I tend to be friends with individuals and avoid larger friend groups altogether. Much simpler that way.<br><br>Love this movie for its accuracy and love your guys reaction. Thanks for sharing it!

  I love how all the mean things girls do to each other in this movie aren&apos;t even farfetched. It&apos;s ridiculous and mostly true, that&apos;s why it&apos;s so funny. It&apos;s the hidden world of teenage girls that they only show to other girls. At least, that&apos;s how it was in my time as a 90&apos;s teen 😂

  The way you were both genuinely flabbergasted at Regina getting hit by a bus was so relatable. I remember everyone screaming in shock in the theater. Hilarious.

  Yes mean girls can be fuckin mean. There was a suicide at my high school due to bullying and mean girl culture. I personally think it’s gotten worse with social media and cyber bullying!

  “Coach Carr, step away from the underage girls.” + “Coach Carr has fled school property,” will never not make me HOLLER. The deadpan delivery while he bolts like a criminal on the run is comedy gold. 😂
