  Shane, like a guitar friend of mine Steve Laury who was a founding member of Fattburger always said, "its in the hands". You can have a "off the line guitar", "a run of the mill amp" and if you got the hands, you can bring down the house! Love your channel, brother!

  30 years pedal usage here:<br><br>Tried a lot of different types of pedals, constantly chasing the holy grail pedal.<br>Some time ago, I sold all.<br>Just kept the SD1.<br><br>LP &gt; SD1 &gt; Silver Jubilee &gt; reverb.<br>That’s it. Totally happy.

  This reminds me in the mid to late 70s i was playing at a local club using a fender deluxe reverb Amp only, and this guy came up to me and ask what pedals I was using I told him I&apos;m not using any pedals and he says, come on, are they behind your amp where are they he didn&apos;t believe me. I was young and couldn&apos;t afford any pedals, So I was just using my volume knob.

  This video is certainly one the best demos of these two Boss pedals that I have watched. Usually the demos of these pedals sound really bad, recorded terribly, or the recording sound is so polished that it isn&apos;t how these pedals sound in real life. This video gives a realistic sounding demonstration of these two pedals by someone that knows what he&apos;s talking about from real life experience.

  I think people should buy whatever they like! That said, finding inexpensive pedals that are good value for money, sound good to you and are easy to handle is always a welcome thing.

  Shane,<br>I am new to your channel. Your videos are great! When it comes to guitar playing and gear on YouTube, some are going to hate. For anyone starting out on guitar, my advice is ignore these people and keep playing. Don&apos;t let it discourage you. Keep playing and keep getting better. I have a lot of expensive high-end gear myself, but I also have cheaper gear. I have a Fender Frontman 25R in red tolex that I refuse to get rid of because I can make it sound great. Just keep playing and getting better :)
