  The pledge of allegiance thing is very weird and culty to us Europeans. It's very North Korea or 1940's Germany... It genuinely seems like indoctrination or something.

  "Crowdfunding for medical bills is not common." One THIRD of ALL crowdfunding pleas in the US ARE for medical bills. I would say that IS a very common cause then. Not to mention all the people who die prematurely because they could not afford to go to the doctor.

  Well; as an European I think that you haven&apos;t developed especially much since the 19th century; You have bigger and more dangerous guns and you have replaced the horses with cars, but that&apos;s about it - you are still living in the wild wild west.

  FYI there are more gofundme&apos;s for healthcare in the US than all the other gofundme&apos;s put together. Yes you do, do that.

  We don&apos;t literally think Americans wear the same clothes night and day- but it is the case that wearing very informal &apos;comfy&apos; wear during the day seems much more common than in Europe. <br>The &apos;thoughts and prayers for the victims of gun violence&apos; &nbsp;refers to the fact that this seems to be all that the US is prepared to do about it. Nothing wrong with those prayers- but someone actually has to stand up and make real world changes if the numbers are going to come down.
