  coffee in europe is 10x stronger, so a tiny cup of coffee has soooooooo mch more flavour and strength. Americans think they drink coffee

  In Europe we don't tip. We think it's rude to not pay your staff a living wage.

  We (customers) don't tip because we (our companies) pay our servers enough to live. It's an amazing concept.

  This will blow your mind Tyler. I'm from the UK and a few years ago was visiting a friend in Belgium for a barbecue. We needed some more propane, but it was a public holiday in Belgium so the shops were all shut. We drove 10 minutes down the road, crossing the (non-existent) border, to a shop in the Netherlands where it wasn't a public holiday, and bought some there. No passports needed, no documents, no different currencies. It was just like going to a shop in the next town.

  Over here (Denmark) waiters aren't meant to be seen or heard, they just show up when you need them to politely take your order, serve or clear plates - the rest of the time they try to be invisible so that your table can enjoy each other on a night out without annoying interruptions

  As someone from Serbia, I have to say that it is completely normal for people to touch each other when getting on public transport, even to offer a hand and lift someone up if they have difficulty walking.
