Two things I deliberately left out of this video, and I'll defend both.
FIRST — Éowyn. Yes, I know. The prophecy, "no living man," the whole scene. I cut it on purpose: this video is about what the Nine were, not about who killed one of them. The moment I open that door, this stops being a video about existential horror and becomes a video about a heroic moment. That deserves its own script, and it's coming.
SECOND — and this one I genuinely can't answer. The Nine Rings were in Barad-dûr when it fell. Tolkien never tells us what happened to them. They were made with Sauron's power but they were not made by Sauron alone, and unlike the One, he never states that they were unmade with him.
So: did the Nine Rings melt with the tower — or are nine rings of power still lying under the rubble of the Black Land, with nobody left alive who knows what they are?
Tolkien is silent. Which means the floor is yours.

When this first started, I thought to myself..."the unmaking of the One, was a mercy for the 9?"

I never got the impression the fea of the Nazgul went on to wherever the fea of Men go. Where did you find confirmation or implication of that happening?
Also, I remember reading that the Nazgul would not cross the Bruinen because they are fearful or wary of water as all water is infused with the spirit and strength of Ulmo.
What is an interesting question though, to me at least, is that it seemed Isildur had almost the same power as Sauron - to condemn a man to existence without release from Middle Earth. How did he get that powerful? The curse he laid on the oath-breakers had more or less the same effect as what the rings did to those who became Nazgul. And their 'wraiths' inspired the same kind of mindless fear on orcs and Southrons as well. Sauron had to forge the rings to get that edge but Isildur could do it with one curse? And Isildur's Heir can just command them? As Sauron commanded the Nazgul?

The nine rings were, by design, less powerful than the one; if any Sauron-energy was in them, it was less by far than was contained in the one, so I'm dealing that they melted with Barad dur. As for the nine former humans, their molecular structure had thinned to close to becoming what? Particulate structures of some sort with the spirits still imprisoned therein? Whatever they were housed in was likely no longer Earthbound, so leaderless, they may have ended up anywhere in the known ( or unknown) universe. Poor old Angmar likely heD, by then, had it and headed for the first black hole he could find. I can't imagine any other force capable of releasing them that gravity unbound. Eru would probably be fine with their being freed by whatever means; after all, they started out only human.
