  On the language pronunciation of warhammer stuff; the actual words are not the real latin words but fake latin words that Games Workshop just use (even if what the spelling looks exactly like the real latin word.)

Each individual bug isn&apos;t sentient or important, even &quot;named&quot; ones like the Swarmlord can be remade with the proper biomatter.<br><br>The best explanation I&apos;ve seen is to think of each Tyrannid as a cell, but the entire species as a body. A thousand cells are dying every minute inside of you, but by in large they serve to keep you alive and you don&apos;t think of them in any way.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNoeYIBMvSY&amp;t=3712">1:01:52</a> There are other colors with Orky properties.<br><br>Blue is the lucky color, so Orks paint themselves and vehicles blue to make them avoid bullets and shrapnel.<br><br>Yellow is the richest color, so the Orks with more teef than sense paint themselves yellow to be more flashy, and paint their guns yellow to make their bullets more explodey.<br><br>Black and white checkered patterns make something more tough (black) and more killy (white). Apparently, they stole this color scheme from the Sons of Horus during the Great Crusade because they got beaten so badly by the beakies it left a cultural imprint.<br><br>Camouflage patterns are also used to make things more stealthy, despite the camo pattern not matching their surroundings.<br><br>Green, of course, iz da best color! Because green.

  So the reason the emperor didnt &nbsp;just make custodes, is because the process to make them is much slower and resource intensive that just making space marines. its a time and resource thing, the custodes are slowly hand crafted, where the space marines can be mass produced.

  In regards to the Golden Throne: The Golden Throne functions as a large lighthouse/north star for ships in the warp, this light is called the Astronomicon, it essentially allows Navigators to discern their position relative to Terra while inside the Warp. It also has the added benefit of keeping demons from approaching Terra. Because the warp is ever changing and follows no laws or physics, having an actual fixed point of reference is crucial for navigation. Shortly after the destruction of Cadia, the Golden Throne actually stopped functioning for a bit, the result, tons of Imperium ships stranded mid flight, a full on Chaos invasion of Earth and the Moon and other catastrophes that costed billions of lives just on Terra.<br><br>In regards to the sisters of battle and their hair color: Yes, it is related, but yes it is also purely aesthetic. A lot of orders of sisters will bleach their hair pure white/silver to honor Alicia Dominica, (the one who met big E and had her hair bleached white by the encounter). It is a show of devotion to the order.<br><br>In regards to faith: Faith itself is strong in 40K however and it can help shield you from the influence of Chaos, or help you channel your psychic powers if you are in fact a psyker yourself, faith itself does not on its own create miracles, specially not for non-psykers. For faith to have tangible results, something with a strong presence in the warp must respond and reward your faith, the sisters most of the time are convinced it&apos;s the Emperor doing it, and it may actually be him. Or it could be a God in the Warp like Tzeench playing tricks on them. &nbsp;Who knows.<br><br>In regards to the T&apos;au: Yes, there has actually been a T&apos;au that&apos;s broken free from the rule of the Ethereals and the T&apos;au&apos;s caste system Shas&apos;O Vior&apos;la Shovah Kais Mont&apos;yr, referred more commonly as Commander Farsight, leads a contingent of T&apos;au rebels against the Ethereals, whom he believes are corrupt and have twisted the philosophy of The Greater Good to their own self serving ends.

  Main functions of the throne I know about are keeping the Astronomicon active (Warp lighthouse that enables warp travel) and Keeping up a barrier that keeps demons from pouring out onto Terra. Before Magnus broke it, the Emperor was also using it to try and build a Human version of the Eldar webway and didn&apos;t need to actively sit on it to keep it working. After the Emperor ended up &apos;mostly dead&apos;, it&apos;s also provides some life support supplemented by a thousand (thousands now, it increased over time) psykers sacrificed to him each day.<br><br>As for the dark mechanicus it&apos;s not just a case of &quot;Wants to do forbidden research&quot; it&apos;s the case of wanting to do &apos;any&apos; research at all. For the Mechanicus all invention is forbidden. They can only use old designs and the punishment for not doing so is death. The mechanicus aren&apos;t inventors, they&apos;re archeologists who use the blueprints they manage to find.<br><br>Custodes and Primarchs have different purposes. Custodes are individually crafted masterpieces. There are normally 10,000 custodes...and that&apos;s it. Primarchs on the other hand are the template used for mass production of their legion. The Primarch is the leader, but they&apos;re also the &apos;clean copy&apos; of the original geneseed that they compare geneseed against to correct errors, since in the course of new geneseed being formed they mutate away from their origin and need to be repaired. Space Marines are meant for mass production. There were ~1.8 million space marines (ish) at pre-heresy and they were replaced frequently due to deaths so there were far more made than were active at any time.

Or rather he misspoke. It would&apos;ve been better for him to say that they are one of the only things in the entire Imperium, and one of the few things in the galaxy, that can go up against a being such as a Primarch and not IMMEDIATELY just die. Like he meant in the sense that a squad of Custodians could go against one of them and kinda of buy some time for whatever needs to be done before dying, which in contrast even Space Marines wouldn&apos;t be able to do<br><br>I think even in one of the new books, Guilliman one of the weaker loyalist Primarchs has returned to the setting and he is the first to do so in the 10k years since the Heresy. So even though he is a loyalist to the Emperor, a Custodian and his squad had ran secret hologram simulations on how to kill him if necessary. Out of the hundreds of simulations they ran, they had a 0% succesful kill rate. And Guilliman isn&apos;t even that powerful combat wise compared to his brothers<br><br>There&apos;s another hilarious scene where Guilliman is angry and rushes ahead into the enemy, leaving behind the Custodians that were assigned as his guards. And at some point, the two of them are just astounded at the slaughter unfolding infront of them, then one turns to the other and asks &quot;And we&apos;re supposed to be the ones guarding him??&quot;

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNoeYIBMvSY&amp;t=2430">40:30</a> Custodes are the peak of super soldiers, you can&apos;t make anything better than them in any way without using the warp magic which Emperor did for making the primarchs, they were few clones of the primarchs but without that special sauce that emperor used they were far weaker and and even space Marines could kill them<br><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNoeYIBMvSY&amp;t=2960">49:20</a> no they are WAY too expensive to make and keep up, their max is around 10k custodians compared to trillions of guardsmen and hundreds of thousands of space marines

  Angron&apos;s tale is one of tragedy. All of the Primarchs were designed with a specific purpose in mind, and Angron was the Paladin, the compassionate one, and as such he was arguably the most emtional. Being implanted with the Butcher&apos;s Nails forced all of that into nothing but rage, and turned him from the Paladin, the one that was supposed to focus on what was right, into the Berserker, the butcher
