  I'm. sitting in my A/C'd living room  in Canada with 43C outside, sipping a chilly Guinness and snacking on my fave prawn flavoured crisps with my feet up shouting encouragement to you David...as in "Well done sir! Excellent insight! Nicely finished!" and all that sort of rot. God bless you, you're keeping us all from outside hellish temps and providing enjoyment for your fans 'round the world. Huzzah!

  I really like that project, since it is quite honest. A lot of influencers would have made a single video after they were done. Using fast cuts, calm music, timelaps shots and a lot of post production, making it look like it was an easy job done in a few hours. I do like it a lot more if people are honest about how much of a struggle it is and how long such projects can take if you don't have the time to work full time on them.

  I repaired a damaged window ledge with 2-part wood filler on a morning of the first heatwave. The first mix (golf ball to pea) set before I finished mixing it. So I mixed a tiny smidge of catalyst in the second mix and that was setting as I pushed it into the hole.<br>Having since spent four days helping build a trailer with my friend to lift his yacht out of the water onto, I genuinely have less than zero desire to do anymore work in this heat.<br>There were two of us and a dog getting grumpy and hot, cutting and welding metal that was too hot to handle before we started working with it. While the ladies <i>glowed</i> indoors eating strawberries and sipping earl grey.<br>Transom looks good.... It will be worth it when you are back on the water with your boat wife and boat mistress and your diagonal lady bishop. 🍓
