  You know what is priceless - knowing that others see the illusion of &apos;having to&apos; sell your time, energy and authentic potential for a wage that barely covers survival maintenence! Your videos have given others a clarity on their own perspective, and an awareness that we are not alone in that clarity.   People are told to treat their job seriously but their side hustle as a gig. Things change when you treat your side hustle as a serious endeavor and your job as a gig.

  Fifty years ago I spent a lot of time fishing. I read about another angler who worked all the hours to buy a house outright. He rented the house out and with the income, stopped work to spend the rest of his life fishing. He lived in caravan or a tent depending on the season. He was only 43 years old when he retired. He traded potential material items for time and choice. I&apos;ve done the same, but at a higher level. I had a wife and family to consider. The result is that my wife retired 20 years ago and my son now 30 years old has never had to work at all. He trains full time as a runner/cyclist. I&apos;ve given him the choice I never had. I wouldn&apos;t ever had insisted he go out to work for money, be an employee. That would make a hypocrite. My recognition of the control system for what it is, has allowed me to operate and benefit from within it. I don&apos;t go so far as to insult it. It has too much power for me to make that mistake. Respect for it is 50/50. I don&apos;t push my luck and the system leaves me alone. It leaves me alone because I pay my way. I pay for everything. I never try to get something for nothing. Taxes must be paid. That&apos;s one way to avoid be examined closer than one would like. Not that it matters. I break no rules or laws. Freedom is being able to spend time just sitting here, listening and trying to type something relevant. It&apos;s raining outside and everyone is with me in this one room (18ft x 11ft). The lad is training on the indoor trainer and his mother is reading one of the hundreds of books she&apos;s borrowed from the local library. She reads rubbish but there you go. She at least has the choice.

  I took a vow of poverty when I became a social worker. My goal was to pay off my modest house, and see what freedom that would bring. The answer is quite a bit.
