  I find myself in such a frustrating predicament with WoW Forever. Seeing it and hearing about it being Horizontally-minded, instead of linearly minded, it&apos;s scratching a <i><b>bunch</b></i><b></b> of itches. Watching Az and Asmon play lowbies with rags and shoddy gear, just starting out as a nobody, is something other MMOs don&apos;t provide. Not even WoW does, since Cata furnishes you with better gear and gives you more &quot;interesting&quot; quests to make your journey feel more Epic(tm). The options of graphical choices are a major selling point as well, along with the Transmog - I absolutely get Old Schoolers aversion to it, but I do like it for making it easier to maintain a specific look without having to lose out on stats or keep two or three entire bags devoted to dress up.<br><br>The issue comes with everything else. I do not like the Sky Elves. I do not like their models, I do not like their outfits. If Blizzard was wary of losing modern players because they wouldn&apos;t be able to play Sexy Elves in Forever, an easy fix would have just been to introduce High Elves for the Alliance, and Blood Elves for the Horde. That aside, I don&apos;t like the aggressive way Blizzard killed Turtle WoW and WoW Ascension and nicked stuff from their versions of the game to slap into this one. I don&apos;t like the fact that those devs who did so much of Blizzard&apos;s legwork got slapped with a functionally permanent ban on ever playing WoW again. And besides all of that, there&apos;s also the fact that - for as much as they make big, sweeping promises and nice speeches - they are still a bunch of Modern Day Californians who don&apos;t share the same DNA as the original team, and will likely throw in the same stuff from Retail. <br><br>I find myself really wanting to play this game, and also hating the fact that I want to do that, and I&apos;m not entirely sure what to do with myself.
