  The funniest thing about this game is that there's a PC Decomp made by an extremely shady company called Spacefarer. Spacefarer made an illegal port of Final Fantasy Mystic Quest to the Switch and Steam called "Jacob's Quest" that's literally the exact same game but with a crappy AI filter over the entire game. They also stole another person's Spyro PS1 spiritual successor, filled it with AI slop and broke the game, and then released it on Switch and Steam.

  Ah yes, Castlevania 64, the most powerful weapon against Dark Souls players, also, you know you have a sword right? The secondary is good against enemies that run towards you.

  The death compilation at around the 10 minute mark made me concerned about how much more torture would be in the video, and somewhat surprised me when I saw there was ~4 minutes left.

  I heard the reason for the out of place technology in the game was because the game was originally planned to be set in the 1940s. They should have stuck with that. The Frankenstein chainsaw guy was originally supposed to be a playable character named Collar. He was an experiment by the cult of Dracula, and rebelled for revenge.

  I loved this game as a kid. I thought the creepy atmosphere was amazing for the time.

  When I first played this game I enjoyed it so much due the atmosphere and the fact that Castlevania was 3D that I didn’t notice the crappy jumping mechanics too much. I enjoyed the villa stage and wish it was more than it is.

  I&apos;m fond of 64/Legacy of Darkness, if anything, for the characters they introduced into the series. Love Cornell, Reinhart and Carrie are cool, tons of named antagonists with cool designs<br><br>The only reason this game is considered not canon is because at this point in the timeline, the Vampire Killer is supposed to be in possession of the Morris clan in America. It could easily be reworked into canon by making it a different whip, and i wish Konami did something like that
