  The Wolf Ring is criminally underrated, especially for noobs and especially in the early game. My first (full) playthrough I didn&apos;t break through the wall until finding this ring in Darkroot. Not getting stunlocked by every little enemy is a game changer. In the early days, I considered it mandatory for Capra Demon.<br><br>BTS isn&apos;t really a &quot;trap&quot;. It comes at a time when players likely have zero rings and it is actually effective at protecting you from hollows. Hollows tend to do multiple, low-damage strikes consecutively. The BTS ring can save you from these types of attacks while you learn the timing

  And the much bigger scam is: in the german version of the game it states that the old witchs ring boosts pyromancy (that is a total lie).<br><br>In german description (gift menu):<br>&quot;Geschenk einer Hexe. Uralter Ring. Verstärkt Pyromantie.&quot;<br>What translate to: <br>&quot; Gift from a witch. Ancient ring. Boosts pyromancy.&quot;
