  Having visited Malta many times over the years, I was delighted to see you have made a video about the WW2 Siege. May I suggest you consider making one on the Great siege of Malta in 1565, when the Ottoman Turks failed to take Malta, and what the repercussions might have been if they had succeeded.

  My brief stay on Malta in the 1970s was the most inspiring holiday I have ever spent in my life. Wandering the Knights of Malta museums, with their armor and swords, as well as hiking in the ancient biblical and prehistoric countryside. Then at night, dining in medieval courtyards and drinking in baccanalian catecombs! I felt like Nostradamus, gazing through the veil of time.

  I was lucky to have visited Malta many times in the seventies when I was living in Tripoli. Later when I was in Geneva my friend and I played the Maltese representatives in the Student UN which was fun. Great show.

  I was in Malta in the 1980s when the British fleet came to Malta for the anniversary- the first time in a long time such large ships had been in the harbour. So so many people were ranged on the battlements in Valletta harbour- many of whom were very emotional at the sight of the ships with the small boat welcoming party<br>Even as a Brit it made me emotional watching the spectacle and thinking of similar scenes at the relief of the siege in WW2

  Welcome back guys, and please bring us more! Just a quick correction - the Ohio would not have transported kerosene (also known as paraffin) , since that&apos;s more or less jet fuel. They would have carried Avgas, which is high octane petrol/gasoline used in piston engine fighters.
